12th Annual Bra Recycling Drive: October 2024
ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø’s Athletics, Employee Wellness and Health Promotion, ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø of Well-being, Office of Sustainability, and the Women’s Center are hosting a bra recycling drive from September 30 through November 1, to collect reusable or worn-out bras and reduce the number of textiles in landfills. Bras that are in good condition will be donated to the Phyllis Zumkehr County Clothing Center, and worn-out bras will be recycled.
October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Employee Wellness and Health Promotion is pleased to sponsor onsite 3D mammography screenings at the Kent campus from September 30- October 3 from 10am-3pm, in the Heer Hall parking lot at 635 Loop Road (near the ice arena). You may schedule an appointment for a mammogram and/or donate a reusable or worn-out bra at the screening location.
