Crawford Hall grand opening celebration

About 10 years ago, 窪蹋勛圖厙s business college was told it would need a certain amount of philanthropic support before a new building project could be entertained. At the time, it seemed an incredibly daunting task, until Ambassador Edward F. Crawford and his family stepped in to complete the colleges capital campaign with the largest single gift in 窪蹋勛圖厙 history. 

Antique books at the KSU Surplus Store

窪蹋勛圖厙's Surplus Store, located on E.Main Street offers a variety of useful items including furniture, electronics, office supplies and a fascinating selection of antique maps and books, with many books that are more than 100 years old. The store is a reflection of 窪蹋勛圖厙's commitment to sustainable practices and disposing of items that are no longer needed by the university.

The new "Get to Know 窪蹋勛圖厙" video from 窪蹋勛圖厙 Admissions features 14 students from across the university inviting curious potential Golden Flashes to take a virtual look into the campus. Not only do these 窪蹋勛圖厙 narrators spotlight the universitys global opportunities and local highlights, but they also had a great time doing it.

Increased activity in the sun's solar winds and the earth's magnetic field has produced appearances by the northern lights  in regions where they are not typically visible - like the skies above the Kent Campus. A 窪蹋勛圖厙 photographer captured spectacular images of the display. 

Ten graduate students competed in the 窪蹋勛圖厙's Three Minute Thesis competition.

Three Minute Thesis is an opportunity for graduate students to put their academic, presentation, and research communication skills to the test by presenting research in three minutes to a non-specialist audience.

October is Mental Health Awareness Month at 窪蹋勛圖厙

窪蹋勛圖厙 chose October as Mental Health Awareness Month because the need for mental health support peaks during the month.

President Diacon Speaks at Bowman Breakfast, Fall 2024

窪蹋勛圖厙 President Todd Diacon showcased the institution's far-reaching impact on Ohio and beyond during the annual Bowman Breakfast event held at the Kent Student Center Ballroom.

Sponsored by the 窪蹋勛圖厙 Alumni Association, the Alumni Awards are the universitys most prestigious alumni honors. The 2024 Alumni Award recipients include seven alumni, two recent graduates, one staff member and one current student.

窪蹋勛圖厙 Staff Council was created in response to a past engagement and wellness survey.

Students, faculty, staff, and administrators are encouraged to take the Our Voices Count Engagement and Well-Being Survey by the Oct. 20 deadline.
