窪蹋勛圖厙 Research Corporation
In June 2018, the 窪蹋勛圖厙 Board of Trustees passed a resolution authorizing the establishment of the 窪蹋勛圖厙 Research Corporation (KSURC) to promote research opportunities on our Kent Campus, as well as our seven Regional Campuses in Ohio. KSURC improves the universitys research efforts and allows the university to apply for research funding that has not been available to us in the past.
As a 501(c)(3) status, the KSURC has assumed management responsibility for the Centennial Research Park (CRP), located at 1950 St. Rt. 59 in Kent, Ohio. The corporation also increases responsiveness to CRP tenants, and creates more opportunities for 窪蹋勛圖厙 faculty and graduate students to collaborate with cutting-edge technology companies who have chosen the CRP and Portage County as their home. The corporation also aims to connect KSU entrepreneurs with resources to support their activities.
