Housed within ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø’s Research Center for Educational Technology, the AT&T Classroom provides a unique Pre-K-16 research laboratory setting to study the potential of educational technologies and also serves as a Pre-K-12 outreach and professional development center for the region.

The classroom was founded in 1998 through the generous support of the AT&T Foundation, the Ohio Board of Regents and the Martha Holden Jennings Foundation and has since hosted over 220 classes from 45 schools across the Northeast Ohio region.  As a PreK-16 classroom, the AT&T classroom is able to provide students 1:1 access to multiple devices and platforms including touchscreen convertible Chromebooks and laptops, iPads, iPod touches, Google Cardboard VR viewers, Oculus Go, and several Boogie Board e-writer devices including the Jot 8.5, the Jot 4.5 Clearview, the Play n’ Trace, the Scribble n’ Play and the Sync. Students are able to use these these devices to access web-based tools as well as iOS and Android apps. The classroom also has available 3D printers, drones, severable programmable robots including mBot, Sphero SPRK, Edison, and the LEGO WeDo 2.0 Robotics system.

AT&T Classroom On-the-Move! In-School STEAM Programming for Teachers & Students

Interested in receiving situated professional development in your own classroom? Looking for a way to offer a highly engaging, deep learning experience for your students? The AT&T Classroom can come to you! You and your students can engage in STEM lessons led by AT&T Classroom Technology Project Director Thomas McNeal right in your own classroom. Options include LEGO®  SPIKEâ„¢, Merge Cubes, Ozobots, 360 video, Book Creator, Scratch, Bitsbox, and more. Sessions can be scheduled for time blocks based on your classroom schedule.


Summer STEM & Innovation Camps

Our camps offer children hands-on opportunities to explore STEM and innovation through various technologies including robotics, drones, 3D modeling, circuits, augmented/virtual reality, and more.
