The Records Section of the Police Services Department oversees multiple tasks.
Records Requests
Reports taken by Police Services and background checks can be obtained through the Records Section. Upon request, they can also provide various statistical reports. You can obtain copies of these documents:
- In person at the Stockdale Safety Building between the hours of 9am-4pm, Monday through Friday.
- Calling 330-672-3070 between the hours of 9am-4pm, Monday through Friday.

Employee Operator License Validation
- All employees who operate a university-owned or leased vehicle must have a valid operator license that must be checked before operating a vehicle and reviewed on an annual basis according to Administrative Policy 3342-12.5. Ridership Waiver
You should know that the majority of police work you will observe is routine. Should you be riding on patrol, in a marked police vehicle with a uniformed police officer, can place you in the same unexpected danger as the police officer with you.
