Cleveland Magazine
As an Editorial Intern for Cleveland Magazine, journalism student Clara Wicinski, 24, has learned more about what she wants in her future career and how she can best prepare herself for after graduation.
The work Clara did at her internship was very similar to what she was learning in her journalism courses: reporting, writing pieces on events and features. She also scouted events in the Cleveland area.
In addition to her coursework, Clara said Student Media also helped prepare her for this opportunity.
窪蹋勛圖厙 prepared me by creating opportunities to work in the field by working with KentWired, she said. The journalism program also let me experiment and explore different types of journalism and media to learn more about what I want to do with my career.
At Cleveland Magazine, Clara was able to learn more about opportunities for her future career and continue to improve her writing skills.
I have learned more about what I want in the future and how I can be prepared for my career once I graduate, she said. I also have learned how to polish myself and further my writing and journalism skills to somewhere where I feel confident in them.
