Which students can set up designees in KSUview?

Why can't I use the same email address for my mom and dad or other designees?

The unique identifier for the designee in KSUview is the email address. An email address can only be associated with one person.

I am selecting items I want my designee to see, but where is the save button?

To view your activity, select the History tab to view the most recent actions and you should see that you selected the authorizations.

I am a ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø student and a designee. Will KSUview be different for me?

A current ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø student who is a designee will see two selections when they click on KSUview on the Student and Financial Aid menu. KSUview Management is for you as a student to designate an individual to be a designee and authorize items for your designee to view. KSUview Access is for you, as a designee to view the information your student has authorized you to see. You may also have a new item, 'KSUview' in the left navigation panel that will take you to a page with a direct link to your profile page within KSUview. The appearance of the item in the panel is based on the type of relationship that was established by your student.

If I make someone a designee, can they call ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø if they have questions about it?

If your designee has a question about the functionality of KSUview, they should first check the Designee FAQ's. If they have a question about your student information, remember: Your authorization is authorization to VIEW the item. KSUview does not give a designee the permission to discuss your educational record with a ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø official. If you would like your designee to be able to discuss the information you have authorized them to view, you need to also give them FERPA release access. You can grant that access from a link within Student / Resources / Requests and Authorizations.

Select Term needs to be available so that your designee is able to look at the information that is term-based such as your schedule of classes, your grades and your student account.
