Campus Resources Available to Student Organizations
Chi Sigma Iota, Kappa Sigma Upsilon Chapter
The purposes of the Society shall be to promote scholarship, research, professionalism, advocacy, and excellence in counseling, and to recognize high attainment in the pursuit of academic and clinical excellence in the profession of counseling.
Club Management Association of America
Club Management Association of America (CMAA) chapter at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø allows students to be exposed to the private club industry. Students will have opportunities to meet industry professionals, tour private clubs, participate in fundraising events and attend student and world conferences.
Council for Exceptional Children
The Kent Chapter of the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) is dedicated to advocating for educational equity and societal accessibility for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. We plan and host social events on campus that allow for individuals with and without disabilities to meet and form meaningful friendships.
Doctoral Student Forum
EHHS Doctoral Forum offers professional development sessions (Doctoral Forum Retreats) and a mentorship program in the fall and spring semesters to EHHS doctoral students.
Eta Sigma Gamma
Eta Sigma Gama is a national professional honorary for men and women in health education. Its objectives are the promotion of teaching, research and service in and for the health education discipline.
Gerontology Club
This is a club for those who are interested in spending time with older adults. We focus on fostering a connection between college students and the elderly members of the community. This connection takes place through putting on activities at senior centers, having speakers, and attending occasional seminars. At the end of the year, we even put on a senior prom for one of the senior living centers.
Graduate Association of Student Personnel Practitioners (GRASPP)
Acts as a liaison between the department of Higher Education Administration and Student Affairs program and the students within this department.
Kent Student Education Association
KSEA is a welcoming club to any student interested in learning about education.
National Student Speech, Language, Hearing Association
Founded in 1972, NSSLHA is the national organization for graduate and undergraduate students interested in the study of normal and disordered human communication.
Operation Smile
Our KSU chapter has about four fundraisers each semester to give children Smiles that forever change their lives.
Professional Convention Management Association
The ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø chapter of Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) is open to all ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø students interested in pursuing a career in the meeting and event planning industry. Students participate in various fundraising events; tour hotels, conference and convention centers; listen to industry leaders; and attend the annual convention that provides networking and career opportunities.
Student Affiliates in School Psychology
Student Affiliates in School Psychology (SASP) is a graduate student organization for individuals enrolled in the KSU school psychology program. Students automatically become members of SASP upon admission to the program.
Student Dietetic Association
The Student Dietetic Association (SDA) of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø (KSU) sets out to impact the community through outreach initiatives as well as service while bringing a focus to the future of our members.
