A ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø researcher has designed a bicycle specially tailored to Parkinson’s patients. The bike is based on a tandem bicycle model – a bike ridden by two people.

Torsten Hegmann, director of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø's Advanced Materials and Liquid Crystal Institute, shows the area in the basement of the Integrated Sciences Building where a new X-ray scattering machine will be installed in 2021.

ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø’s Advanced Materials and Liquid Crystal Institute soon will be home to a new X-ray scattering instrument capable of examining materials in scales from as small as a fraction of a nanometer to as large as several micrometers.
