What is Summer Advantage Bootcamp?

Summer Advantage Bootcamp is a weeklong residential program designed to give incoming first-year students a brief yet impactful early college student experience. Students will be introduced to college courses, campus resources, staff, and services, to assist with remaining on track towards graduation and preparing for a future career by building a support network of peers and professional staff. The experience includes mini-courses in various academic subjects, as well as, service-learning and workshops to identify your strengths and expand your success network.

Program Goals

  • Provide a residential experience introducing students to campus resources, services, and staff for graduation.
  • Introduce students to college-level coursework through a series of mini-course experiences
  • Envision a path for success by building a network of peer and professional support.

Program Benefits Include

  • Free program experience to jumpstart your ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø journey.
  • $200 bookstore credit to purchase fall books/course supplies.
  • On-campus housing and meals provided during the program week.
  • Peer support and service-learning opportunities.
  • Workshops to support academic, professional, and personal goals.

Program Requirements Include

  • Complete the Summer Advantage Bootcamp RSVP link no later than Friday, July 1st.
  • A commitment to living on campus during the Bootcamp week.
