IN A FLASH: The Ways We Remember

Candlelight Walk and Vigil 2021

 

Each year on the days leading up to and including May 4, ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø observes several important and meaningful events to remember and honor the students killed and wounded on May 4, 1970

May 4 Marker by candlelight

 

One important aspect of the May 4 Commemoration is the annual candlelight walk and vigil on May 3. This commemorative event first occurred in 1971 and has become a cornerstone of the commemoration.
