The ϳԹ Museum is pleased to announce their latest exhibition: "Shannon Rodgers and Jerry Silverman: Dazzling Day and Night." The exhibition will open Friday, May 31, 2024, and will continue until Monday, July 28, 2025.
The ϳԹ Museum is honored to host the first museum exhibition in the United States dedicated to the work of the brand Sukeina founded by Omar Salam. The exhibit will open Friday, February 16 and will continue until Sunday, June 2.
The ϳԹ Museum announces the opening of “Head to Toe” on Feb. 2, 2023. On view through Jul. 23, 2023, the trilogy of exhibitions draws from the ϳԹ Museum’s permanent collection. Highlighting hats, coats, and shoes, visitors will see the evolution of these essential garments as styles, technologies and trends evolve.
The ϳԹ Museum exhibition “TEXTURES: the history and art of Black hair” has been awarded the Arts Alive award for Collaborative Project for 2022. The exhibition was co-curated by Dr. Joseph Underwood, associate professor of art history, and Dr. Tameka Ellington, former associate professor of fashion and interim assistant dean for the College of the Arts.
