From the Division of Information Technology’s Story Team
Stepping onto the campus of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø as an international student, I felt a thrill course through me. Discovering the news about the upcoming business building, Crawford Hall, for the Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship, only amplified that excitement.
Crawford Hall will house enhanced technology and emphasize collaborative spaces, promising to be the perfect toolkit for honing my business skills and, hopefully, launching me into a successful entrepreneurial future.
Bryan Molnar, Lead Audio Visual (AV) Designer at Division of Information Technology (DoIT) and a key architect of Crawford Hall's tech infrastructure, sums it up best:
"We're not just installing AV equipment; we're revolutionizing how students
learn and prepare for the business world," Molnar says.
The AV technology project will be integrated with forward-thinking design in classrooms and common areas of the hall. The project is becoming reality through the combined efforts of the Division of Information Technology (for whom I am proud to be a journalist!), the Office of the University Architect, and the Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship.
I can already picture myself polishing presentation skills in the one-button studio, a self-contained setup free from the hassle of lights and camera adjustments. Imagine recording insightful presentations with Lightboard technology-effortlessly incorporating handwritten notes alongside my voice. Just thinking about practicing pitches and gaining analytics experience in the analytics lab fills me with anticipation!
ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø's commitment to equipping its students with tools and preparing them for modern business careers extends beyond Crawford Hall. Even as an international student navigating a new academic landscape, I feel empowered and equipped.
ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø's impending opening of Crawford Hall in fall 2024 marks more than just the unveiling of a new building; it is a gateway to the future of business education in Ohio. I am thrilled to be a part of it.
