The Family of Wayne Wittick, DPM establishes CPM Emergency Fund in his memory

On June 23, 1985, Wayne Wittick was tragically killed in an automobile accident. It was a sudden and heartbreaking loss for everyone who knew him. Wayne was a member of the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine (OCPM) Class of 1986, a member of Alpha Gamma Kappa, President of his Class, and an active participant in the basketball, softball, and football teams.

Wayne attended Penn State University and grew up in Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania, just outside Philadelphia. He was a vivacious and dedicated student, passionately pursuing his dream of becoming a podiatrist, inspired by his father, Dr. Arthur Wittick, a podiatrist himself.

In 1986, Dr. Thomas Melillo, President of OCPM, honored Wayne by awarding him a posthumous degree in podiatric medicine. To keep Wayne's memory alive and support students in need of emergency funding at the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø College of Podiatric Medicine, a new fund has been established.
