Jan Focke Joins College of Business Administration National Advisory Board

KENT, Ohio –The ϳԹ College of Business Administration’s National Advisory Board welcomes Janice E. Focke ’85, Senior Vice President, PNC.

Focke holds an MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University and a Bachelor’s degree in finance from the College of Business Administration at ϳԹ.

At PNC, Focke leads a group of professional bankers providing financial solutions to owner-managed businesses in northeastern Ohio, with a focus on middle market, large corporate and heavy equipment lending.

Focke has led numerous teams during her banking career in Cleveland, working in large corporate, middle market and small business banking. Prior to her role at PNC, Focke led a team of relationship managers at Huntington National Bank. In 2013, she successfully led FirstMerit’s acquisition and integration of Citizens Republic Bancorp for the Commercial Banking Segment. At various points, she has led groups devoted to credit risk process, university relations, talent development and succession planning.

Focke serves on the Board of Directors of the Cleveland Play House and served as the chair of that board from 2016 to 2019. She is a steering committee member for Women in Transactions – Association for Corporate Growth, Cleveland chapter. She is a member of the Executive Women’s Leadership Forum and the Leadership Cabinet for Lake County YMCA. Focke sits on the Catalyst Committee at Lakeland Foundation. She is a member of The Holden Arboretum Council and CARTA, a scholarship program that benefits students attending Cleveland Institute of Art.

The ϳԹ College of Business Administration’s National Advisory Board is comprised of prominent College of Business Administration alumni and corporate partners throughout the United States. The board provides an external point of view and resources to connect with important constituencies for expertise, financial support and information.
